Michael Jackson's Iconic Sunglasses Get A Modern Makeover

Aviators are back and better than ever.

In honour of the 35th anniversary of Michael Jackson's Thriller album, illesteva has recreated his go-to oversized aviator lenses with a modern twist. By partnering with the King of Pop's estate, the sunglass company created 200 limited edition frames that are available for purchase today.

With Jackson's recognizable lenses, and statement-making ensembles, he rose to a fashion icon and was photographed in jaw-dropping looks throughout his career.

Wearing his signature silver jewel-encrusted glove and matching navy sparkling jacket at the 1984 Grammys:

In an avant-garde accessorized black suit preforming at the 1993 Super Bowl halftime show:

'90s fashion may be back, but it's clear we can't ignore '80s trends with the rise of these oh-so-cool shades. "The gold mirrored face is accented with lightweight gold temples and engraved with Jackson's signature," a press release stated. Additionally,"the original aviator style frame reimagined by illesteva, was created using a single sheet lens." One word: dope.
