London Fashion Week finished with the ultimate bang on Tuesday night - thanks to Gigi Hadid.

The model's third collection (really though, third? Where does the time go?) collection for Tommy Hilfiger exploded in style at London's iconic Roundhouse. As the venue for the Doors' first London gig in 1968, and home to David Bowie and Jimi Hendrix concerts, it felt particularly glamorous for Tommy's first show in the capital in 20 years.

Gigi was the first to take to the catwalk wearing a floor length tartan coat, cropped sweater and denim cut-off shorts. She was followed by younger sister Bella, who wore an oversized printed hoodie with over-the-knee socks, and brother Anwar Hadid in a shearling collar jacket.

With heavy metal style logos, hoodies and biker jackets, the clothes looked like merchandise for a rock show.

Before the runway began (and the Hadid family runway reunion) we managed to nab a meeting with Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid backstage to talk about their Tommy x Gigi project. Short but sweet in amongst the pre-show rush, read below.

What is the best thing about British fashion?

Gigi Hadid: I would say genuine I think British people are very straightforward and very true to themselves when it comes to style.

Why have yo chosen to hold your Tommy x Gigi show in London?

Tommy Hilfiger: It's daring and bold and I just love it here.

Seeing as you're in London, let's quiz you on your Britishness. Victoria sponge or New York cheesecake?

Gigi: Cheesecake, obviously.

Fry up or pancakes?

Gigi: Pancakes, because you know what weirds me out? The tomato. I don't need that. I love beans can't we have those instead? Oh what about: beans, toast, egg, sausage sandwich with brown sauce.

Heels or sneakers?

GH: Sneakers, always

Spice girls or Destiny's child?

GH: I can't choose they are both iconic.

Favourite place to hang out in London?

TH: Lou Lou's [an exclusive club in Mayfair]. GH: I love just walking and seeing a lot of different things like the architecture I don't really mind where. I think it's interesting that there are lots of different areas that look so different from each other. So you'll just find me walking around…not really knowing where I am going.

What's your signature dish?

GH: Can you cook Tommy? Do you cook?

TH: No I don't cook. But if I could I would make some kind of grilled branzino. I like Mediterranean food.

GH: If I was cooking for you I would probably try and impress you and make something British, like a Sunday roast that would really blow you away. I just learnt how to make Yorkshire puddings from my boyfriend's family, so I'm pretty proud of that.

Is there somewhere in the UK you haven't visited yet and would like to?

GH: I have never seen any of the British coast, so that is next on my list.
