Gaps ex-creative director, Patrick Robinson, has today been named as A|X Armani Exchanges new one.
Hell be reporting directly to A|X CEO Harlan Bratcher with a remit that spans product development to creative direction in marketing, WWD reports.
Its something of a homecoming for Robinson, who worked on Armani Collezioni early in his career before leaving for Anne Klein in the mid-Nineties. His impressive fashion CV has since garnered stints at Paco Rabanne and Perry Ellis.
Its also interesting timing last week, Robinson announced his intention to launch his own sportswear line, Pashko, with a cool, sexy, urban vibe.
