Byredo has established quite the cult following through their perfumes, lotions and candles (you've smelt Gypsy Water even if you don't know what that is) over the years. Behind the beauty scenes, another project has been slowly bubbling away from founder, Ben Gorham. This time, it's of the leather variety.

Having quietly launched his leatherwork in 2015, Gorham's first formal collection 'Accelerated Culture' was inspired by Craig McDean's 'I Love Fast Cars' book celebrating photos of drag racing culture in the American South.

The collection was first shown at Paris Fashion Week this September - and features bags, wallets, purses and card holders - to rapturous applause from press and buyers alike.

Much like his fragrances, the bags have a very clear aesthetic with clean, geometric lines, bold coloured detailing, luxe leather and minimal branding.

The collection launches today in Selfridges and is available online here.
