SZA might have only released one album (the excellent Ctrl), but everyone already knows who she is. And, naturally, despite telling herself it 'sucked' - at one point she threatened to quit music altogether - the opposite happened.

The record become one of 2017's most critically acclaimed albums and the songs became anthems for young women who could relate to their unflinching portrayals of desire, insecurity and sexual liberation.

This weekend, the R&B singer (born Solána Rowe) will be heading to the Grammy Awards with five nods, including best new artist. She will be the most nominated woman in the room.

And now? Well now she's bagged herself a Gap campaign to boot.

The singer stars in their 'Archive Reissue: Logo Remix' collection, which features clothes with brand's logos throughout its 50 year history.

Not content with one inspirational woman, the short video also features TV presenter (and now Radio1 host) Maya Jama, 28-year-old rapper Awkwafina, Bria Vinaite, who stars in The Florida Project alongside Willem Dafoe, actress/comedienne Naomi Watanabe, and Sabrina Cloudio, the 21-year-old half-Cuban, half-Puerto Rican singer/songwriter.

The film pays homage to the nostalgic Gap ads of yesterday, and is directed by Tabitha Denholm (also behind videos for Haim and Florence and the Machine).

In 2018, however, these gals are remixing their culture on their own terms, whether it be through music, acting, comedy, activism or simply speaking up on the issues that matter the most. There's also some excellent dance moves, and Maya Jama prancing about in tracksuit bottoms and a denim jacket.

Everyone in the film wears pieces from the 'Archive Reissue: Logo Remix' collection, which includes tees, sweatshirts, and rugby shirts.

Available from 27 January, the clothes will be available on Gap.com and in select Gap stores globally. There will also be limited edition capsule that includes 29 one-of-a-kind designs, made by desconstructing and remixing vintage Gap logo sweatshirts and tees from the Gap archives.
