In her first interview since husband David signed with Paris Saint Germain, Victoria Beckham has opened up about the new life that the family is building in the UK.

While David has committed to a five-month contract to play for the prestigious French club, Victoria and their four children will stay in the UK – an arrangement with which Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and, presumably, baby Harper are more than happy, Victoria confirmed today.

‘The boys are loving their new schools and we're all very excited about also spending some time in Paris over the next few months!’ our cover girl wrote from NYC, as she took part in her first ever live Facebook chat, hosted by ELLE UK.

She also admitted feeling bittersweet about leaving their old home in LA, saying: ‘I love America and am very excited to be in New York for Fashion Week, but I'm enjoying spending time in London.’

Victoria flew into the Big Apple last night and is preparing will show both her and her second line, , during the , which kicks off on Thursday.

Expect a front row appearance from biggest supporter Harper, who enjoyed our chat from her mum’s lap – and called time on it when it was time for her nap.

When asked whether she would consider launching a children’s line, Victoria was characteristically modest. ‘There are so many great brands already doing this,’ she wrote. ‘I would never say never though!’

She also discussed juggling work and family, her excitement at the upcoming launch of her new e-commerce site victoriabeckham.com, and which star she’d really love to dress.
