Missoni menswear show will go on

But family will not attend

In the wake of the disappearance of Missoni’s CEO last week it has been announced that the brand’s menswear show, due to take place on Sunday as part of Milan menswear week, will go ahead ‘in order to give continuity’ to the brand, WWD have reported.

The family are unlikely to attend the event, though this hasn’t yet been confirmed.

The search continues for Vittorio Missoni and his wife Maurizia Castiglioni, who have been missing since last Friday, when the small plane they were travelling in on the way back from a Christmas holiday disappeared soon after taking off from Los Rosques, on the coast of Venezuela.

Yesterday, a body was found in the sea off nearby La Guaira, but Venezuelan authorities have confirmed that it is not that of Vittorio or any of his party, but the remains of a long-missing fisherman.

All six people on board the small aircraft are missing, including the pilot and two friends of the couple.
