Paris Couture Week will welcome back a long-missed familiar face in July: the house of Loris Azzaro is to make its catwalk comeback after an absence of 30 years.
The move is a bold statement of intent under the creative directorship of Parisian-Spanish design duo Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejón, who were appointed last June.
They're not holding back, today releasing a fashion manifesto that runs: 'The creative duo Arnaud Maillard and Alvaro Castejón is determined to return the house to its dazzling days by revealing a combination of mediterranean sensuality and Parisian chic silhouette, while preserving the historical heritage of the brand.'
Consider us intrigued.
