We dont want to brag but we spent our Bank Holiday weekend in Cannes, and our Saturday night at a party on the Croisette hosted by . No big deal.
The cocktail party was thrown to mark the launch of the labels new Colour Block Eyewear Collection, a range of sunglasses made from two coloured frames moulded together. It was held around the pool of the rooftop Club Costes bar, which has been decked out with pieces from the Fendi CASA collection. Pierre Sarkozy, son of Nicholas, DJed, and Canadian singer Kiesza performed for assembled guests that included Dita von Teese and Liu Wen.
Kiesza is also the star (and soundtrack) of a short film set in New York that celebrates the Colour Block collection. It was really amazing for me to be part of this video, Ruth Hugben is an amazing and strong woman, she says. Its something that Ive never done before, something completely new. I like to see myself in ways Ive never seen before. Guests were treated to a teaser on Saturday night, but the film will be unveiled in full next month.
