Diesel announced that Norwegian designer Andreas Melbostad will succeed Sophia Kokosalaki as creative director of its premium Diesel Black Gold line.
Melbostad, who previously worked with Nicole Farhi, Phi, Guy Laroche, Yves Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein, will make his Black Gold debut when the brand shares its pre-fall collection in December.
Kokosalaki left her post at Diesel Black Gold after the brands spring summer 2013 show in New York in September.
