Kate Spade is blooming

Thanks to English rose Deborah Lloyd

London has fallen for flower power all over again - and in few places as gloriously as Kate Spade New York's Sloane Square boutique.

Yesterday, chief creative officer Deborah Lloyd (pictured above with Dionne Bromfield) flew in from the US to host a starry tropical fête at the store to celebrate its stunning Brazil-inspired exterior earning it a Chelsea In Bloom Award.

Why were you keen to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show?

I am British and I absolutely love flowers, so this trip is always the highlight of my year.

How did the design for the windows come together?

The delivery for this month was inspired by my trip to Rio de Janeiro, so we decided to just go with it. My amazing team worked so hard to bring it all to life and then fabulous team at Wild at Heart just made it sing.

Do you have green fingers yourself?

Yes, I try. I try to create my own little English garden at my house in upstate New York. I love it! My favourite flowers are English garden roses.
