Miuccia Prada makes it onto ArtReview power list

She’s an art power broker too…

ArtReview magazine published its definitive list of the 100 most important figures in contemporary art today—and Miuccia Prada is included alongside the world's top artists, dealers and collectors.

Prada has long been a supporter of the arts through her Fondazione Prada contemporary art space. Her private art collection includes pieces by prominent artists such as Anish Kapoor, Louise Bourgeois and Carsten Holler (Prada has one of Holler’s famous slides installed in Prada Group headquarters). Her work, considered more art than fashion by some, was the subject of this year's Costume Institute exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Also appearing on the list are LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault and Dasha Zhukova, who founded the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture.
