When Geoffrey J Finch stepped down from his position as Antipodium's Creative Director earlier in the year, the fashion world was abuzz with who was going to take the helm of design at the eclectic brand.

Antipodium have now announced that the role of Head of Fashion will be appointed to Daniel Mcilwraith, who - since joining the brand in 2010 - has worked closely with co-founder Finch.

Mcilwraith's first collection will be Resort 2015, and will carry a heavier focus on the brand's core offering of statement separates.

Finch has commented, 'I can’t think of anyone better to take the helm of design at Antipodium. His ability to constantly update the brand and stay relevant is evident in the success of the collections over the past few years.'
