The words 'Louis Vuitton', 'stationery boutique' and 'Paris' pretty much equal ‘heaven’ to many of us at ELLE HQ. But this is no fashion daydream, it’s the latest piece of good news from the luxury French luggage and ready to wear house, headed by creative director Marc Jacobs.

This Thursday, Louis Vuitton will open a temporary exhibition space at 170 Boulevard Saint-Germain dedicated to the world of writing. Then, in December, another boutique around the corner at 6 Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés to house pens, other writing paraphernalia and the brand’s first foray into stationery.

It’s all part of a general expansion program of the Paris boutique.With Smythson's and Liberty of London’s writing essentials already on our wishlists, the last thing we really need is another leather-bound reason to part with our cash.
