Hectic scenes at H&M stores this morning, as the range of accessories designed by fashion super star, Anna Dello Russo, finally launched. Attempts to log on to the online shop this morning were met with a message that customers had been placed in a queue, while fans of the eccentric Italian stylist arrived in stores in their droves.
According to H&M, the ornate turquoise and gold-embellished suitcases were the item flying off the shelves fastest, followed by sunglasses and jewellery. When the collaboration was announced earlier this year, Dello Russo said, I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find.' Adding, As a stylist I know accessorization is essential: it is the personal touch to any outfit.
It looks as if lots of people agree with that this morning.
