Come next summer there will be so much 1960s paraphernalia sloshing around the stores, will it even be possible to pick out Rossella Jardinis Moschino?
The answer is, yes. So distinctive are the Moschino signatures the primary-coloured little princess coats piped in white, the trousers buttoned down the side, the natty little skirt suits they will be hard to miss.
I was inspired by Sharon Stone in Casino and another film I love, Two for the Road, said Jardini after the show. Colour played a vital role alongside our black and white, but I used these in different proportions this time, shorter and for the first time we used silver not gold.
As ever, its all the styling of the 1960s that comes with it the Jean Shrimpton hats (a kind of exaggerated bowler, strapped under the chin), the small box bags, the mirrored clumpy-heeled shoes - that always sends this collection over the top - in a good way. Everything that is larger-than-life is at the heart of Moschino.
So for spring / summer 2013, Jardini didnt hold back: from the exuberant flower power and butterfly prints or neon orange sequins on buttoned-down pinafores and sharp jumpsuits, to the babydoll dresses sugary sweet, even in black and white this was vintage Moschino that will no doubt hit the spot in 2013.
