Its been a drab, drizzly week in London. Then David Beckham touched down in the city to launch his swimwear range for H&M, and suddenly the sun shone, summer started and life was wonderful. The champagne and posh canapés at his private pool party helped too.
Erected poolside at Shoreditch House, three posters of Becks debut swimwear range for H&M showed off the footballers latest offering from his on-going collaboration with the Swedish label; boardshorts, swim shorts and trunks. An intimate crowd awaited the ELLE cover stars arrival (hoping it would be in said trunks).
Looking debonair in an all-black outfit, David mingled with the crowd that included One Directions Niall Horan and Liam Payne, Suzy Menkes, DJ Nick Grimshaw, Eliza Doolittle, Foxes, Ellie Goulding and more.
Since launching his Bodywear collection for H&M in 2012, the 39-year-old has proven his design talents (almost) rival his wifes with his range of luxe basics.
The collection launches in selected stores and online from Thursday 22nd May. Treat your boyfriend to the cool khaki shorts.
