It started with a safari jacket, and the tone was set. The most impeccable explorer to ever travel the plains of Africa, Todd Lynn’s summer woman was nipped and tucked and long and lean – as Todd Lynn’s woman always is.

The muted tones were there, but print – normally not a part of Lynn’s lexicon – made an appearance too. Marbled olive greens and buttermilk yellow – a colour we are seeing a lot of this season – cut across the sands and stones that Lynn favours.

Things got a little sexy towards the end: collarbone cut-outs featured heavily, and whole side panels were cut out of lean flared trousers with nothing but stringy black silken strands to keep everything in place. With Louboutin’s thong sandals upping the overall kitten factor, we thought we might even be able to picture some of these pieces on a dance floor.

Uncharted territory for the intrepid tailor, but he certainly brought home the bounty.
