Savoir Adore, the latest musical duo to come out of Brooklyns highly developed music scene, were the perfect musical accompaniment to ELLEs follow Fashion Week with the ELLE editors video.? ?The raw and dusky vocals mixed with the soft playful melodies are an absolute musical treat for all that listen. Both from musical backgrounds, Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro met in New York at a songwriters club.?
After many years being spent in the Greenwich Village songwriters club the duo came up with the unexpected yet beautiful song The Adventures of Mr. Pumpernickel and the Girl with Animals in Her Throat. After posting tracks to Myspace, Hammer and Muro began to produce music under the name Savoir Adore.? ?In 2009 the band released Into the wooded forest a record that would indeed send them worldwide and broaden their musical audience.
2010 saw the band tour the UK and France including gigs at Secret Garden Party festival and Camden musical hotspot Koko. In 2011 they released Dreamers a stunning musical accolade that makes us at ELLE very excited about the future of this band.
