Tali Lennox joined the men for a photo in front of the store before Juicy President and Chief Creative Officer LeAnn Nealz opened the doors.

‘It was quite surreal and very fun, and that’s what Juicy is—it’s fun,’ Lennox told us inside the new store, noting that she didn’t dare drive one of the motorbikes herself. ‘I don’t think my mother would want me doing that! But it’s fun when you find yourself in an unexpected situation, like sitting at the front of a group of models on Vespas at 7:30 in the morning.’

The new store is full of vibrant Juicy touches, from the cases of sparkly costume jewellery to the rails of printed silk blouses. The premium Bird collection is in a nook on the mezzanine, while original Juicy diehards are catered for with a tracksuit wall on the lower ground floor level. Decoratively, the store has been sensitively restored to highlight original details, like the white marble staircase sweeping around a wrought-iron lift.

‘The store really celebrates this city, a place near and dear to Juicy’s heart—it’s the perfect mix of LA and London,’ Nealz said in a statement.

ELLE model Lennox, meanwhile, is taking cues from the Vespa crowd and embarking on a road trip across America this summer. After ending up at the Burning Man festival, she’s packing up and moving to New York in late September.

‘With modelling jobs, you only find out what you’re doing the week before or a couple of days before, so I’m planning for that,’ she said. ‘I’m going to have to miss London Fashion Week because I’m going to be away, which is too bad, but I’m very excited to get to New York.’
