Move over Mother Monster! Lady Gaga has been toppled from the Forbes Celebrity 100 list by American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez who takes the top spot for the first time.
Measuring success via a combination of financial earnings and wealth in the form of column inches and social media presence, Forbes have crowned J-Lo the winner of this years chart following a hugely successful year. A judging seat on American Idol has re-booted Jennifers profile whilst netting her a cool $52 million for her bank account and seeing her twitter following exceed 7 million.
Proving that all PR is good PR, Jennifers public divorce gained a lot of press attention, which also added to her Forbes list wealth, while endorsement deals with beauty brands LOreal and Gillette also gave her image a boost.
Despite a current sold out world tour and a second album that shifted one million copies in its first week. Lady Gaga this year slips to number 5.
