Shoe designer Blahnik is expanding from his single Chelsea store into two of London’s highest-profile shopping destinations, with a little help from his friends at Kurt Geiger.

Thanks to a long-term deal, Geiger will open and operate shop-in-shops at Liberty and Harrods.

The Liberty space—or Wold of Manolo—is open already, and full of shoes, tote bags, stationery and scarves bearing the designer’s delightful sketches. A 300-square-foot space will open at Harrods in July.

‘I am very excited that my shoes will reach an even broader audience through Kurt Geiger in Liberty and Harrods,’ Blahnik said in a statement.

‘The Liberty opening in February has been very successful and with Harrods being a breathtakingly beautiful store full of incredible heritage, seeing my shoes there in the next couple of months will be a special moment.’

Before you get your hopes up, Geiger representatives say this isn’t a step toward finding Manolos on sale in your local Kurt Geiger store—it’s a completely separate venture.

‘We are extremely excited and privileged to be working with Manolo Blahnik, one of the world’s most inspired shoe designers,’ Kurt Geiger CEO Neil Clifford said. 'The collections are captivating and these new boutiques will make a truly fantastic addition to the experience offered in Kurt Geiger’s luxury shoe concessions in Harrods and Liberty.’
