Karl Lagerfeld will stage Chanels cruise show in the gardens of the Chateau de Versailles on the evening of 14 May, WWD reported.
Although the designer has staged previous cruise shows in Venice, Los Angeles and Antibes, it seems his thoughts have always stayed closer to home. For the , Lagerfeld installed a maze-like, monochromatic interpretation of Versailles gardens, complete with working fountains.
Fashion houses including Hubert de , , Emanuel Ungaro, Halston, and have shown at Versailles in the past.
