After its sell-out collaboration with Stella McCartney in 2010, the high street store has confirmed it is once again teaming up with a big name designer to launch a childrenswear collection. This time, Diane von Furstenberg is the label to be shrunk down in size.

Set to hit stores on March 28th, the lines for GapKids and babygap will infuse DVF’s signature style, boasting blooming botanical prints with bold brights to create a covetable summer collection that both mother and daughter will love.

The Belgian-born designer hopes to inspire fashion’s leading ladies of the future and there’s even a mini version of the legendary wrap dress. "I am thrilled to collaborate with Gap on this playful collection for girls" she said, "It is timeless... colourful... effortless... That is very DVF!"

Never mind stealing from mummy’s wardrobe, thanks to DVF we’ll be borrowing from the little ones...
