The Kenzo autumn winter 2012 collection was held over five floors of a Parisian university, the models descending between the levels by escalator. Intimate, it was not. And we're not sure how P. Diddy, sitting front row, would feel about being labelled a personal belonging either. Fabulous? Now that's a given.

Spanish art director and friend of the design duo Juan Gatti created prints featuring bunches of grapes that were used as a play on florals. Patterned knitwear was worked on to the sleeves of coats along with rubberised fabrics while multi-functional pieces—a coat that can zip off to become a cropped jacket—added a practical spec.

Jewellery designer Delfina Delettrez created the coloured enamel jewels for this extensive collection of clothes for every room in that intimate house. Leon and Lim's second collection for Kenzo makes for a younger, New Yorker look and it's a direction that went down very well with its audience.
