DSquared2 takes Milan to the prom

As the fashion week fraternity were feeling a little left out by the glamour and gossip happening on the other side of the world at the Oscars, Dean and Dan Caten gave us our own little party to brighten the final day of Milan fashion week.

Today saw Catens' (sic) High School Prom. Picture the scene; it's '63, it's DSquared2 land where the heels are sparkly and the soundtrack is loud.

The school tomboys sashayed along the catwalk smoking cigarettes in loose shirts, blazers and rolled-up jeans borrowed from the boys. The prim set tottered in boat neck fitted dresses, pearls, pencil skirts and mohair knits.

Best placed to win Prom Queen was Lindsay Wixson, who wore Jason Wu to her own last year. With Sam McKnight's high beehives and a typically buoyant DSquared2 mood, the boys' reputation for youthful, wearable separates was firmly in place.
