Kloss’s spokesperson confirmed that the model would give New York a miss because an ‘engagement has come up’ elsewhere, a Daily Beast writer reported.

With Kloss’s recent appearances in shows by exclusive-commanding fashion houses including , , , etc, her 'engagement' could be a contract with any number of places (don't forget Victoria's Secret, either). But we have a wishful inkling that Kloss’s ‘engagement’ might be a bit closer to home.

Earlier this week, Kloss played favourites, telling Modelinia about the show she’d most like to walk in this season.

‘I’d love to walk in this season; it’s one show I’ve never done!’ she told the model-watching blog. ‘I also haven’t done London Fashion Week in a while, would love to get back there soon.’

Her spokesperson said it was very likely that Kloss would walk in shows in Milan and Paris, so her appearance in London is far from assured (we're still waiting to hear what Burberry has to say).

Come on, Christopher Bailey: won’t you make this model’s dream come true?
