Karlie skipping NYFW... for Burberry?

Don’t expect to see Karlie Kloss swanning past in the Oscar de la Renta show. The top runway strutter (and de la Renta face) is understood to be skipping New York Fashion Week altogether.

Kloss’s spokesperson confirmed that the model would give New York a miss because an ‘engagement has come up’ elsewhere, a Daily Beast writer reported.

With Kloss’s recent appearances in shows by exclusive-commanding fashion houses including Versace, Chanel, Christian Dior, etc, her 'engagement' could be a contract with any number of places (don't forget Victoria's Secret, either). But we have a wishful inkling that Kloss’s ‘engagement’ might be a bit closer to home.

Her spokesperson said it was very likely that Kloss would walk in shows in Milan and Paris, so her appearance in London is far from assured (we're still waiting to hear what Burberry has to say).

Come on, Christopher Bailey: won’t you make this model’s dream come true?
