Taking jewellery out of the jewellery box

ELLE has been inspired by a new wave of jewellery. It's one part hardcore harness, one part pretty, dainty necklace. Sound surprising? Meet the inventive Cornelia Webb whose delicate body jewellery is what inspired team ELLE to look into the rise of the harness.

Stockholm based Cornelia Webb launched in 2005. The luxury brand combines Scandinavian simplicity with a avant-garde raw aesthetic that creates pieces that work beyond the realm of traditional jewellery. Her tagline, which sums the brand up perfectly, is she creates jewellery outside the jewellery box.

How to wear it? Draped over a white T-shirt and paired with low slung boyfriend jeans and Birkenstocks or pool-slides; the simpler the look the better. Summer is all about the undone and this piece of body jewellery calls for beachy waves, minimal make up and a relaxed attitude. It’s delicately rock and roll without trying too hard.
