Adele has cleaned up at the Brit Awards 2016, as we all expected she would.
So far, Adele can chalk up her wins to producing best single of the year, being best British solo artist, best album and to having the most global success.
The 'Hello' singer dedicated her first win of the evening to fellow pop star Kesha, igniting a flurry of Twitter activity from other people who are similarly on board with Kesha's cause.
While she used her first acceptance speech to highlight what she deemed an important issue, the speeches that followed her three other wins were more of an emotional and personal affair.
Ant and Dec, taking to the stage after Adele's third win, were at pains to apologise for Adele's particularly sweary brand of acceptance speech, telling the listening crowd: 'Apparently the bleep guy didn’t get in early enough for one of the bleeps.'
But hey, it's Adele, and her candid, blunt method of voicing her thoughts is one of the main reasons that we all love her, right?
Whatever Adele said behind all the bleeping sounds, we're sure it was sweet, humble and powerful.
For her fourth acceptance speech, Adele referenced the birth of her son, saying she felt concerned that taking time off for motherhood would get in the way of her ability to create good new music:
'I got really lost for a while and I didn't know if I'd ever come back,' she said, 'For you all to be so kind to me is so nice.'
So congratualtions Adele, you've won the Brits.
