Alexander McQueen’s iconic Savage Beauty exhibition is coming to London’s V&A museum in spring 2015.

The showcase, in partnership with Swarovski and supported by American Express, spans the late designer’s body of work from his 1992 MA graduate collection to his unfinished a/w 2010 collection.

The original version of Savage Beauty was shown at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2011 - and immediately became one of the museum’s top 10 most-visited exhibitions.

‘ was brought up in London, studied here and based his brand here,' says Martin Roth, V&A Director. 'By staging the exhibition at the V&A, it feels like we’re bringing his work home.’

Jonathan Ackeroyd, Alexander McQueen CEO, says: ‘We’re incredibly proud as a house to be able to showcase Lee’s visionary body of work in London as a celebration of his legacy and an inspiration to a future generation.’

Will you go to see this ultimate blockbuster fashion exhibition? (Considering the Duchess of Cambridge likes McQueen clothing so much she got married in it, chances are, you might find her in the queue...)
