The handbag millionaire and UK business ambassador described running her fashion business as, ‘The best fun ever. Scary, but really fun,’ reported the Telegraph.
Hindmarch spoke to fledgling entrepreneurs at the Start Up Britain event, offering her insights alongside Prime Minister David Cameron, Chancellor George Osborne, Vince Cable MP and Dragon Duncan Bannatyne, among others.
The designer, who started her business at age 18, said that the two most important qualities for any entrepreneur are inspiration and mentorship—both of which are in ample supply for fashion companies seeking a foothold in London.
'All the NewGen designers at London Fashion Week are all starting up new businesses and there is some really great talent there. The British Fashion Council are really good at mentoring and supporting young emerging designers.'
