Earlier this month, ASOS Curve took to Instagram in a bid to find the next face of the brand in association with Models1.
Over 10,000 pictures were uploaded under the hashtag #MakeMeACurveModel, but they've been whittled down to one: Imogen Lysandrou, who wins a contract with the Models1 Curve division, a day shooting at ASOS HQ, modelling the Curve collection and (best of all) a £500 ASOS voucher.
We caught up with Imogen on the shoot to find out more about her love for fashion and, in particular, all things ASOS.
1. What made you want to enter the #MakeMeACurveModel competition?
I looked at the hashtag for the competition and with so many amazing girls entering, I didn’t think I stood a chance. I emailed over my images to Models1 and it was them who suggested I should apply!
2. What's your go to style for everyday?
Anything black - usually a high–waisted jean and crop top. Simple.
3.Who is your favourite designer?
Kanye West. Is it wrong to say that? I’m a massive fan.
4.Are you excited to be working with Models1?
Yes. I'm still trying to get over the shock of winning. I can’t believe it. I’m looking forward to working with a top agency and to a future with them.
5. What is the first thing you want to buy with your ASOS voucher?
Something loud that I usually wouldn’t go for. I want to experiment. Just being here at ASOS for the day has given me an insight to some amazing styles.
