Mathilde Castello Branco, the creative director at Azzaro, has departed the Italian fashion house after just over a year at the helm.

‘The House of Azzaro and Mathilde Castello Branco are moving forward in different directions,’ the brand said in a statement.

The brand has yet to announce a successor.

Branco joined Azzaro in September 2011 as a replacement for Vanessa Seward. Previously, Branco worked with Alber Elbaz at Lanvin and under Martin Margiela at Hermes.
