Before the show, Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro gave us their designers’-eye view of how the collection came together for a special Behind the Collection gallery.
From their photo diary, we learned that the black-and-white lace skirts we so loved on the catwalk were inspired by old lace curtains. Other unlikely muses were faded wallpapers (the pale floral prints appeared in skirts), botanical specimens (for the toile de joie) and painted wood carvings (the graphic details appeared in cashmere knits).
