The American fashion brand heralded the opening of its new Paris flagship store on the Champs Élysées by parading 101 shirtless male models down the fashion avenue on Friday.
Professional qualifications including enviably defined six-packs and the ability to deal good-naturedly with gropey grandmothers brought the men to the pavement outside the store entrance. Other models waved at onlookers from the store balcony and rooftop (looks a bit like they’re waving for help, frantically appealing to passersby for rescue, right?).
And, a warning (or an enticement, depending): if you walk down the Champs Élysées anytime over the next year and think you’ve spotted shirtless men, you’re not dreaming. The new store apparently plans to keep topless guys on staff through its inaugural year.
