The Chanel Cruise show is reknowed for being creative and spectacular - in the past it's featured synchronised swimmers, live singing from Irina Lazareanu and a boardwalk on the beach. This season the Chanel crowd assembled in St Tropez, and models stepped off boats before parading down the street. Sometimes a runway simply isn't enough.
The model cast included name-of-the moment Crystal Renn as well as catwalk staples like Behati Prinsloo, Abbey Lee and Anja Rubik. And the grand finale saw Gerogia May Jagger , sporting thigh high leather boots and a nude babydoll dress and looking remarkable like Brigitte Bardot, speed down the street on the back of a motorbike.
As for the clothes? The collection had a decidedly retro feel, with flowing maxi dresses, macrame knits, gentle ruffles and various shades of tan, all teamed with barely-there make-up and bare feet to match. And of course there were cropped tweed jackets aplenty, teamed with high waisted shorts and chiffon blouses. Perfect attire for lounging elegantly on your yacht.
