And she didn’t disappoint.
Her print-heavy collection (sponsored by COTTON USA) centred around spots, stripes and checks and drew inspiration from Gray’s Scottish heritage. Tartan was overlaid with foil prints, sequin stripes were paired with herringbone and pieces were made up of a jumble of patterns and hues. The overall colour clash was helped by the accessories - balloon headdresses by Nasir Mazhar, over the knee boots with gold foil and red ploka dot panels by Nicholas Kirkwood and chunky gold earrings from Louise's first jewellery collection, a collaboration with ASOS.
Styled all together the effect was bold, bright and brilliant, but probably more than most of us can carry off. But there were some standout pieces that would easily slip into our wardrobes - the panneled chunky knits are currently topping the collective wishlist, alongside a foil printed tartan bomber jacket and the lightweight chiffon dresses made up of stripes and herringbone checks.
