The world's of fashion and film came together last night at a glittering party to launch London's 2nd Fashion in Film Festival.

The event, in London's Soho Square, was hosted by high street retailer Oasis, to mark the unveiling of their new collection for autumn/winter 08. The festival's theme 'If Looks Could Kill: Cinema's images of fashion crime and violence", inspired Oasis' whole new collection which references iconic actresses and classic Hollywood movies. In particular, the Lux Tux and the Charleston fringed dress are, revealed Oasis, directly inspired by Marlene Dietrich in Desire - a film showing at the festival.

Henry Holland, Kelly Osbourne, model Ben Grimes and her beau Jackson Scott and the designers Ann Sophie Back and Roksanda Illincic were amongst the revellers who sipped gin, gin and more gin, on a humid summer night in central London.

The Fashion in Film festival runs from tomorrow (10 May) until 30th May, with screenings and special events taking place across London. Click now for all the details.
