Alpine and ski-resort footage played against a set backdrop of a wood cabin as Natasha Poly appeared in a red knitted body, complete with snow-flake design, fur moon-boots and sequin goggles. There was nothing subversive going on here and it was enjoyable to watch such a niche trend and plan for the fantasy of a ski holiday.
Knitted sweaters were worn with flowing skirts, baby-doll dresses with leather gilets and shorts were lined with fur. So, although it naturally wasn't practical, the too-cute reindeer knitted prints almost persuaded us it was.
The finale saw a procession of white chiffon floorlength dresses worn with black velvet blazers, waistcoats and neckties. A perfect après-ski snow angel look for our fairytale adventure.
