As both a designer and the international face of the new Belstaff campaign, it’s no surprise that David Beckham features (albeit briefly) in the brand’s newly released video For The Open Road. The short follows five British bikers kitted out in gear, riding from the Goodwood estate in West Sussex to the flagship store in New Bond Street, London, where they’re met by 50 other riders and Becks himself for a motorbike parade.

Belstaff’s s/s 2014 campaign, shot by Peter Lindburgh in the Buckinghamshire countryside, was inspired by Steve McQueen. Our former cover star Becks has revealed that he’s thrilled to be partnered with the brand and that he’s ‘honoured that anyone mentions me in the same breath as Steve McQueen, because I'm a huge fan of his for his talent and obviously his looks, his fashion sense.’ And that’s exactly why we’re a fan of yours, Mr Beckham.
