It’s the battle of the Davids as Gandy and Beckham go head-to-head on the high-street with their respective underwear lines for M&S and H&M.

David Gandy, who shot to fame as the face of in nothing but his tighty-whities, has revealed an exclusive 28-piece collection for Marks & Spencers that will include boxers, briefs and sleepwear.

Gandy, who is already the current face of the M&S Collection Menswear brand, said of the collaboration,

'I've been keen to focus on the detail, from the quality of materials and everyday comfort and fit, to style so that they are at the heart of each piece and form the basic essentials of the range.'

Meanwhile, Beckham recently added swimwear to his longstanding ‘David Beckham Bodywear’ collection for H&M, which he has been designing since early 2012.

And luckily for us ladies there will be a bit of eye-Gandy too (geddit?) when the collection goes on sale, as Gandy steps back in front of the camera as the face of the campaign. Phew.

The full collection will be available in 274 UK stores and online from September 18th. That’s plenty of time to work on that six-pack then, chaps…
