It’s the iconic piece that she has become most known for, and last night we celebrated it’s 40th birthday.

And such a milestone deserves a suitable celebration. Not only did host a star-studded cocktail party, but she has also launched an exhibition to mark the 40th Anniversary of the Wrap dress, two books and a newspaper, The DVF Times.

Guests last night included Bianca Jagger, Ellie Goulding and Laura Bailey, who mingled amongst the wrap dress installation and photographs by Peter Lindbergh and Helmut Newton from Diane’s personal art collection, which form the exhibition at the newly opened Philips Gallery, Berkeley Square.

Both Diane’s books ‘The Woman I Wanted To Be’ and ‘Journey of A Dress’ are available from amazon.com.
