According to WWD the brief statement made by the label's president and chief executive officer, Sidney Toledano, condemns the designer's 'odious behaviour' and states, 'I condemn most firmly the statements made by John Galliano which are total contradiction with the essential values that have always been defended by the House of Christian Dior.'
Galliano has been sidelined as of today and the label is starting proceedings to sack him officially. Dior will apparently still present its a/w 2011 collection on Friday during Paris Fashion Week.
