Diane Von Furstenberg: daredevil skier? The designer sustained painful injuries during a recent ski trip in Colorado. But not to worry—she’s recovering in style.

‘I had a bad fall at the end of a day of skiing in Aspen,’ she told WWD. ‘I broke my shoulder in three places. No surgery required. I am resting and mending in my house in LA.’

The fall marks Von Furstenberg’s second serious skiing accident in recent years. During a 2011 trip to Aspen, another skier collided with the 66-year-old designer, breaking Von Furstenberg’s nose and ‘causing light facial fractures’, according to the industry paper.

Von Furstenberg, whose chose to see the bright side of the accident in a tweet sent Thursday afternoon.
