has collaborated with Eastpak to create a capsule collection of backpacks.

The collection, which was announced today, is the next step in a partnership that began with Gaultier designing a bag as part of the Eastpak Artist Studio in support of Designer Against Aids (DAA). This next collaboration will continue to support the cause by creating awareness about HIV/AIDS.

Speaking of the range, Ninette Murk, Founder and Creative Director of DAA, said ‘I’m delighted with the news that Jean Paul Gaultier will join forces with Eastpak for DAA. Not only because he is one of the most talented and creative fashion designers in the world today but also because he has supported the fight against HIV/AIDS since the very beginning.’

The Eastpak x Jean Paul Gaultier collection, which goes on sale April 1st is made up of 7 different styles – all numbered, limited editions in a range of fabrics including denim and leather. Prices will range from £70 - £360.

If you haven’t yet converted from handbag to backpack, now is the time. Trust us, it’s a game-changer.
