The big news in fashion this week? It’s charity, dahling.

A great meeting of minds has seen Topshop join forces with River Island, Versace join forces with House of Holland and Agent Provocateur unite with Stella McCartney, all to be part of a great industry-wide giving initiative.

Last month we reported on David Gandy’s Blue Steel Appeal, a project led by the Zoolander-like male supermodel to raise funds for Comic Relief. He’s reached out to fashion friends far and wide to convince them to donate a prize, and the auction has been running on Ebay since March 7th.

Several designers, including , Roland Mouret and House of Holland have donated tickets to see their September fashion shows. Brands such as Aspinal of London and Bionda Castana have offered the chance to design your own bag or shoes with them. Suits, lingerie, limited edition prints and even VIP tickets to see a match at the Dolce & Gabbana gold circle at AC Milan are up for grabs.

Currently streaking ahead in the bidding stakes is Victoria Beckham’s donation: the chance to go to New York and see her SS13 show, and a meet and greet with the designer thrown into the mix.

Elsewhere in fashion-land, the Stella McCartney t-shirts are flying off the shelves as the designer’s crew of famous friends including Kate Moss and Gandy himself spawn a legion of charity copycats. (Watch our exclusive behind the scenes video of the shoot).

And of course there’s the ELLE pyjama party (heard about it yet?) - happening this Friday, we'll be joined by fashion friends including Topshop and River Island by wearing our PJ's to work.

So, what it boils down to is this: if you want to be bang on trend at the moment then get giving. Take your pick – you can buy a t-shirt, donate to ELLE’s Pyjama Party Just Giving Page, or bid on a money-can’t-buy fashion prize.

Remember, she who gives chicly gives twice.
