Tomorrow marks a first in fashion week history as the Fendi show in Milan is to be streamed live to the world via a collection of flying, fashion-spotting drones. Yes, you read correctly
The drones, which are fitted with high-definition cameras, will capture Fendis a/w 2014 collection and allow fans to watch the show live from the comfort of their homes.
Its inclusive, its fun and its definitely revolutionising the way in which we experience catwalk shows.
With Nike working on self-tying laces (à la Marty McFly) for 2015, Burberrys digital schedule at London Fashion Week (including downloadable content and being able to shop the catwalk collection immediately online) and now Fendis drone cameras, were thinking that technology and fashion were definitely made for one another.
