Fendi and Maserati have teamed up to design the Special Edition Maserati GranCabrio Fendi, a new car set to be unveiled at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
The car promises to be just as sleek and exclusive as Fendi’s runway fashions. The fashion house created a dark-grey paint with a shimmering gold finish, WWD reports. Interiors feature the same fine leather used in Fendi’s Selleria line. The dashboard and headrest trims are in signature Fendi yellow and the double-F logo is stitched into seats.
Fendi accessories designer and family member Silvia Venturini Fendi designed a new logo to mark the collaboration, blending the house’s double-F symbol with the Maserati trident.
The Maserati collaboration is part of a Fendi project called The Whispered Italian Grand Tour, which has as its focal point a documentary exploring Italian craftsmanship.
News about the Maserati tie-up comes fast on the heels of an announcement that Missoni will design a Manila condominium complex . But what we want to know is this: does it come with sunglasses?
