Cara Delevingne is the model of the moment. She managed to clock up appearances in a whopping 28 catwalk shows over the spring summer 2013 show season, going from severe Sixties for Louis Vuitton to bondage tutus for DSquared2.
The latest images of Cara to grace our screens: this Chanel resort 2013 campaign. When Karl Lagerfeld showed the resort collection in May, beneath the beating sun of Versailles – the Eighteenth Century-style panniers and corsets were styled with Harajuku make-up, shrunken punk wigs and brother-creeper shoes – all in space age pastel colours, of course.
Cara Delevingne also starred in that production, of course – she opened the show – but these images are real costume drama, half Bo Peep, half bodice-ripping romance. It beats Downton for excitement….
