We’d already noticed a burgeoning trend for die-hard heel fans switching to flat shoes; confirmation came when we heard that Chloe Green’s second shoe collection, which is stocked on Topshop.com and at Selfridges - features a few pairs of flats. Only a couple though – the majority of styles are still towering.
The collection is out on 19 November but ELLE have a head start on that, with these pictures. We caught up with Chloe ahead of the launch, asking what has changed since the first collection. ‘It's got a harder edge to it and there's more of a range in heel heights,' she said.
We asked whether that was a response to feedback from the debut and Chloe said, ‘It was great keeping up with my customers on Twitter [but] I love wearing high heels and always wanted the collection to make a statement but wanted to make sure for autumn/winter there were also styles that were more in keeping with the season, so I designed some flat biker boots and ballerina pumps.’
